This build-to-suit facility for Metro Canada Logistics is a
state-of-the-art rail-served distribution centre designed to
meet the needs of the forest products industry and the
movement of its rail-intensive commodities. The site’s
strategic location adjacent to Canadian National’s (CN’s)
largest rail yard provides significant time and cost savings
to Metro Canada Logistics’ clients in the shipping of paper
products. Higgins Development Partners acquired the 32-
acre site in the fall of 2000, and completed construction of
the facility in February 2002.
